Outlook: LDAP directory support for S/MIME in New Outlook
The new Outlook now supports LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) directories for sending S/MIME encrypted emails. This allows users to add an LDAP directory in the new Outlook and use it to fetch recipients’ certificates from the configured directory when sending S/MIME encrypted messages. #newoutlookforwindows<br>GA date: April CY2026
