Is OTP.ms secure?
The OTP.ms mobile app and dashboard are built on Microsoft authentication allowing your organization to utilize state of the art OAuth2.0 authentication along with restrictions built in Conditional Access.
All authentication from the backend service never stores passwords and no user can access any underlying tokens or secrets.
How does OTP.ms help MSP's?
Our patent pending approach to service account security is allowing MSP's to greatly reduce their security risk of their many service accounts across many customers. When you use OTP.ms it allows your MSP employees to share service accounts within a central portal with other employees in your organization. Once the MSP employee has authenticated to the platform they are able to request access to a service account, they will then be asked to provide a ticket number or reason for accessing the account. If opting for a one time password on the account, the user will be provided a password they can use to login that expires in one hour.
